Eliam has been editing video since 2000 when he bought his first editing set up ( Final Cut Pro) in order to make his first feature film String Theory. The film was shot in 2001 and completed in 2004 when it premiered at the Santa Fe Film Festival. The film can now be either bought or rented from Jaman.com ( in either case a download)
Eliam’s other experience includes writing the play Sixteen Wounded. In 2002 Sixteen Wounded received a workshop production at the Cherry Lane Theater. The play was then produced as part of The Long Wharf Theater’s 2003 season starring Academy Award winner Martin Landau. Sixteen Wounded opened on Broadway in April of 2004, starring two-time Tony winner Judd Hirsch, and directed by Tony winner Garry Hynes. Since 2004 Sixteen Wounded has been recorded by L.A. Theater Works for broadcast on the nationally syndicated radio show, and can now be downloaded from audible.com and there have been sellout productions in Germany, Austria, and Italy. Productions are planned for both France and Sweden. Eliam latest written works include a new play commissioned for the award winning Druid Theater Company , and a new play titled Gabriel about America’s new cold civil war.
